OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS
As we go through our daily lives, we can see there are many needs in our communities. There are those that are homeless. There are children without a loving environment. There are teenagers and young adults without hope. There are those who do not have adequate food or clothing. There are those who would like to continue their education or receive training for a better job. There are those who need a platform to display their skills, talents and abilities. Still yet, there are those who are facing health related issues and yes, there is the underserved people that still suffer. When we take time - we are reminded of the many needs in our communities. The Institute for Black Charities-MD Chapter brings together people and organizations and supports them as they plan and carry out projects that improve the lives of our children, our families and our communities.
THE HELPING PROCESS
The Institute for Black Charities' Maryland and D.C. Chapters have started the helping process...matching those who can help with those who need help. We are working to address the needs we know exist. We need your pledge to support the work of programs that uplift and improve the conditions of Black people. With your support we can continue to make things better for those in need. Your commitment defines the Importance of Giving ...and that's a beautiful part of life!
As you read about our programs and the tremendous benefits of our services, we hope you will be encouraged to get involved. Pledge your CFC contribution, donate your time and talents, pass it on -
ask others to GIVE. Your contribution can help...and combined with the contributions of others, we
are poised to make a difference in communities where we live, work and build dreams for the future. We should ask ourselves and others - what can I do? And our answer must be - we will do our part!
